Arts Underground is excited to invite Yukon ceramic artists from across the territory to participate in our April 2026 exhibition, ‘Embellishment’, on view in both the Focus and Edge Galleries from April 3 - 25.

Makers of all skill levels are encouraged to bring up to six clay pieces based around the theme of ‘embellishment’ (whatever that means to you!) no later than Saturday, March 28 to participate in the show. Bowls, plates, sculptures, cups, etc. are all welcome. If you aren’t sure if your piece would qualify, please don’t hesitate to contact us! All work will be reviewed by staff before display.

All work must be available for sale. When pricing your work, please note that the Yukon Art Society retains a 35% commission on all artwork sales. The curator reserves the right to re-price pieces that are not in line with market value and pricing.

When dropping off your work at the gallery, please ensure all pieces are labelled, including title, price, artist name and medium, and whether or not your pieces are food safe. Please fill out the following form with information about your pieces here: Embellishment: Exhibition Submission Form

If you have any questions, please contact Teagan at curator@artsunderground.ca

Deadline
Please drop off your pieces by Saturday, March 28 @ 4pm.

Please make sure any pieces you're firing at the Arts Underground Ceramic Studio are in the kiln no later than Wednesday, March 25.

The exhibition will be on display from April 3 - 25, with work also available to view and purchase in our online store. Due to the Good Friday holiday, the official opening reception will be held from 5pm-7pm on Friday, April 10 and we hope you will attend.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are all looking forward to seeing all of your creations!
