Experience Required: Registrants should be comfortable with basics of centering, opening and shaping on the wheel

Over four sessions, participants will progressively develop their intermediate and advanced throwing skills, with a focus on creating greater height and learning how to shape, move and bend clay with control.

Instructor demonstrations will be followed by guided practice and individual feedback, allowing participants to strengthen their pulls, improve clay distribution, refine rim control and explore more intentional curves and changes in direction. Participants will work with increasingly larger amounts of clay and apply these techniques to taller, more complex forms.
