Join Arts Underground for a “Try the Potter’s Wheel” afternoon!
This free event is funded by the Yukon Government Tourism and Culture Branch in celebration of Culture Days 2025.
Come and learn the first steps of throwing clay on a potter’s wheel. Try your hand at centering the clay, opening the clay, compressing the bottom, and pulling up walls – the foundational steps of all things wheel thrown. Be prepared to get a little messy and have a lot of fun! This will be a drop in event from 12-4pm, no registration required, recommended for ages 12+.
