Exhibition Opening: Alaena Warner + Blood Ties Four Directions

Please join us on Friday, October 2, for the official opening of our two new exhibitions, ‘Lumina’ by Whitehorse-based artist Alaena Warner in the Focus Gallery, and 'From the Margins' by Blood Ties Four Directions in the Edge Gallery, featuring work created by community members who use substances and those with lived experience of marginalization.

'Many Voices: Music in the Yukon, 1896 - 1996' by Friends of the Yukon Archives Society remains on view in the Hougen Heritage Gallery.

All are welcome to attend this free event. A chairlift is available for those who require mobility assistance. Food and drinks will be provided.

Air North, Yukon's Airline is also sponsoring another draw at this month’s First Friday Art Crawl. After visiting all three galleries during the crawl (Arts Underground, Yukon Artists at Work, and Northern Cultural Expressions Society), visitors can enter to win a $100 gift certificate. Once you've completed your crawl, and had your "punch card" validated, fill out your contact information and put in the draw box at any of the venues.

The draw will take place the following Tuesday after the event, and the winners will be notified through their provided contact information.
