Gather
EDGE GALLERY
November 6 - 28, 2026
Opening Reception: November 6, 5-7pm
My work for Gather is born out of a persistent inner drive to shape raw clay with my hands. I am guided by a head constantly full of ideas that my technical skills are always racing to catch up with. Because my vision often outpaces my hands, each piece is a step forward, capturing my constant evolution as a maker.
This collection focuses on incorporating botanical themes into functional art. Nature is the ultimate anchor for my creative energy, and I use direct impressions of leaves, twigs, and flora collected from my surroundings, or the inspiration from such to bring the spirit of the garden indoors.
Ultimately, this work is built on the belief that beautiful, everyday objects bring just as much joy as the art hung on a wall. Because functional art is meant to be experienced through use, you are warmly invited to touch, hold, and feel the textures of these pieces to fully connect with them.
DEBI WICKHAM
I am a ceramic artist who creates out of my basement studio, and is driven by a persistent inner urge to make many things. For me, pottery is more than a craft—it is a vital creative anchor and the force that gets me through the long, dark winters.
My head is constantly full of ideas and my skill set that always evolving. My current work focuses on incorporating botanical themes into functional art, transforming lumps of clay into functional everyday objects that bring the spirit of the garden indoors.
